Events

The Exchange networking events accommodate 50-70 people, are free to attend and are designed to be flexible and interactive. Light refreshments and nibbles will be provided and there will be informal drinks and networking afterwards.

ECRs attached to our partner HEIs, Artists, Micro Businesses and SMEs within the Creative and Cultural Industries, Research and Business Development Managers from partner HEIs.

To introduce the project, present some case studies and facilitate networking between potential collaborators. The process to access seed funding will also be outlined at this event.

Participants can stay in contact with each other directly or find other potential collaborators either through The Exchange team or via this website and social media channels.

We appreciate that attendance at a networking event will be a significant time investment, particularly for individuals and small businesses. Micro businesses with a turnover of less than £100k and artists can apply for a refund for reasonable travel expenses. If you intend to apply for travel expenses you can through this LINK.

ECRs should be able to access funding for travel through their department – this has been discussed with partner HEIs.
